This course is open to JGH staff only.
Once you have submitted your registration, you will receive an email with a link to the course.
It is essential that you access the course and complete the DEMOGRAPHIC QUESTIONNAIRE by April 2, 2021 11:59 PM.
This course is comprised of three components:
- Pre-reading PowerPoint titled Resuscitative care of the ED Patient during COVID-19 Pandemic which should be read upon registering.
- Online learning module
- Simulation module (where some will be participants with most being observers)
There will be pre-questionnaires with both modules, and subsequent questionnaires during or after the modules where the answers and rationale will be provided.
In order to claim 3.5 hours of accredited CME, the pre-reading PowerPoint that is linked above must be read, and the pre & post questionnaires and the online learning module AND simulation module must be completed. There is no minimum grade required.
Please note that the JGH Sim Team are hoping to publish the differences in knowledge translation and your preferences between the online learning and simulation modules. Your consent will be requested, and your participation is appreciated. Participants will be assigned a unique identifier by an independent research assistant, thereby rendering the answers to the questionnaires completely anonymous. Names will be used only to identify CME requirements and certificates.
