This 2-day workshop is designed as an anatomy refresher for incoming Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) McGill students. Specifically, it is for students in the Qualifying Year or the PT Equivalnecy Program.
Workshop attendees will be provided with an anatomy study list approximately 1-month prior to the workshop.
Attendees are expected to come to the workshop prepared to identify various anatomical structures and landmarks on cadaveric specimens.
Teachers will be present to support attendees and guide discussions on the importance of the varied anatomical structures and landmarks within a clinical/rehabilitation context.
Attendees will be provided with goggles and a lab coat for the duration of the workshop.
Lunch will be provided on the first day and a light breakfast will be provided on the second day.
** Participants who are pregnant or trying to conceive will require an EHS mask fit testing prior to the workshop and will require the wear of respiratory protection during the workshop. If this is your situation, please contact Marie-Lyne Grenier as soon as possible so that this can be organized.
