EXECUTIVE EDUCATION FOR NURSES
New leadership course for a new era in health care – May 13 to 31, 2024
As the post-pandemic resignation continues to destabilize our healthcare network, it is abundantly clear that change is needed. Revitalizing healthcare requires the integration of nurses into the highest levels of decision-making in healthcare organizations. This 3-module online course, developed and led by Lynne McVey, RN, MSc, FHCMgt, will get you started on your journey to a seat at these important tables.
Course Content:
- Two asynchronous learning modules beginning May 13, with optional live sessions May 17 and 24, 13:00-14:30
- One live session moderated by Lynne McVey, May 31, 13:00-15:00
- Readings and assignments are geared toward career planning; individualized feedback is provided.
- All course content is bilingual. Learners can participate in either language.
- Registered participants will be granted access to the course on May 6.
Who should attend?
Experienced directors, managers, nurse practitioners, and other nurses who aspire to decision-making positions in healthcare. Master's students* in the Health Services Administration stream are also welcome.
