Welcome to the integrated course on Good Clinical Practice (GCP). This course is based on the International Council for Harmonization (ICH) Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines. It introduces the principles of Good Clinical Practice which help ensure the safety of trial participants, the integrity of trial data and the overall quality of the study. The responsibilities of key players before, during, and after the study, as well as some of the best practices in clinical research are discussed in this course.
Health Canada now requires all individuals involved in the conduct of clinical trials to complete training on ICH GCP E6(R3). This training is also recommended for anyone working in clinical research. This course meets those requirements by combining our existing ICH GCP E6(R2) training with a full overview of the updates in ICH GCP E6(R3). It is recognized through TransCelerate’s Mutual Recognition Program. If you recently completed E6(R2) training, please take our ICH GCP E6(R3) Update course to ensure compliance with Health Canada’s new expectations. A reminder that GCP training must be renewed regularly. Please check your institution’s policy for specific renewal timelines.
