Community Social Pediatrics is an integrated social medicine model that brings together expertise from the medical, legal and social sciences. Its goal is to identify risk factors and to detect, reduce and eliminate sources of toxic stress that affect the development and well-being of children in vulnerable situations. In this course, we will look in detail at the impacts of difficult living conditions and stress on children's health and development and present some of the ways in which CSP addresses them.
